50 bucks a pop, money well spent

So. I can't hear out of one of my ears. & at pretrial I couldn't hear a damn thing the judge said. Our judge does ask us questions, but only when we are on the stand. I am wondering if I should let the court know I need hearing impairment provisions. Sad There are signs up stating if you need this, it is available. I REALLY don't want to alert my rude ass ex that I can't hear, but I also don't want the judge to think I'm being rude by not responding or asking him to repeat himself. Sad I'll discuss it with attorney. Ugh. I wish I didn't have to go to court right now with how I'm feeling but I have to. I just hope I can get through it without any major upset.

By the way. We sent bio mom a subpoena this morning for court!!! Her & my ex's wife & his parents. They won't be witnesses. BUT for $50 a pop it keeps them in a room away from me... Not in the courtroom glaring at me!!! Haha yay me!!! My attorney said THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO TO KEEP THEM AWAY FROM THAT COURT ROOM. I said, really??? Subpoena them!!! Heehee. So it's done. Wanna play bitch? I've been doing this for almost 5 years. I'm not as weak as you think I am.

$200 total so they can't glare at me & try to intimidate me. Yeah I'll pay that.

Excellent - I do think you need to speak to the attorney about the hearing loss. It does not mean he needs to share your condition - hearing difficulties could be caused by a cold or ear infection.

Oh I love that!! (the Subpoena idea) that is just priceless!!

AND the added bonus is you have the four of them stuck there in a room bored out of their tiny brains and wondering when they will be required LMAO

That is so funny - good for you.

As for the hearing - yes, do it ASAP!! My dd11 has hearing loss and has issues with speaking up and asking for extra help when she needs it, but she is getting better - she is noticing the difference when she has the speakers system at school working (there are three hearing impaired kids so they have a system throughout the school to enable them to hear the teachers from any corner of any room!)
