BIOT Thursday...

I'm at my limit with skids.

SD whined and complained bc they hadn't started softball practices. Started last Friday. Practice Fri-Mon-Tues-Wed.

I knocked myself out Tues getting my Gkid to soccer and SD to practice on either side of town. We had electricians and power company at our house so DSO had to stay home.

Yesterday SD calls me 10 minutes before the bus is to arrive. I have blogged bout her practically living with the BFF Twins. Anyway, SD says that she is walking to twins house and the their Dad will drive her up our house to get her gear and then take her to practice. We live 6 miles from twins house, up a mountain. Ball field is 10 miles from us. So of course someone elses parent isn't going to run another kid around when their own kid isn't playing the sport.

So of course she bailed on practice. I told DSO that if she is just going to call and lie and then go do what she wants, bc he has let her, then I don't want her to call or txt me. I told her the same thing this morning. She kept saying she didn't lie blah blah blah....and then she finally txted that she didn't feel like going to practice.

Exactly. So now I'm checked out on her softball.

Well, in keeping with softball, I will bitch about coaches having the kids stay late for extra innings when they still have homework, eating and showering to do before bedtime!!! SD didn't get to sleep last night until after ten!

And, I still have the same bitch that I've had for weeks now - my FDH's surprise party is in TWO days and I STILL haven't heard back from some people!!! I swear this whole f'ing thing is going to give me a break-down! And, the worst part? He said something suspicious yesterday, like he might know, and if I find out someone spilled the beans after all of my hard work...HEADS WILL ROLL!!!

Our Jr High team (that SD didn't make, we are in rec league) practices 2 hours 6 days a week. SD couldn't make it 4.

I remember my DD having away basketball games and many nites of waiting for the buses to get back and not getting home until after 11.

Wow.

We figure if her school work starts to suffer because of sports, we may have to cut back on them.

BM doesn't help either. My kids played sports for years, I know the commitment. Skids don't know what that word means.

I firmly believe that if you sign up, you go unless you are hurt/sick. Last practice of the week. No reason she couldn't have went to twins house today after school.

I believe that too.

There have been times when BM has been really late or, not shown up at all, and made FDH look stupid because he didn't know where his kid was...she doesn't communicate with him no matter how hard he tries, it's sad.

DSO doesn't even let the coach know when skids don't go. Did this with SS a few years ago when he played basketball. I notified the coach about something then, and the coach thanked me bc no one ever did that before.

BIOT? I was stretching this morning, not even like actual stretching, just arms out while yawning, and I pulled every muscle in my neck and between my shoulders and now I can't turn my head to the right. Ugh.

Ha! I strained my leg yesterday stretching and yawning...it sucks getting old! (Not that that's the only reason that can happen though...but it doesn't help!)

I'm not even that old, I'm turning 31 in a few weeks. I fear my 40's and beyond. Sad
