O/T did anyone see Dr. Phil interview Casey Anthony's parents?

Anon2009's picture

I was watching Dr. Phil earlier because I wanted to watch him interview George & Cindy Anthony.

I personally thought Cindy was making excuses for Casey. I can't imagine what it's like to see your child behind bars and know that your child is facing the death penalty if she's convicted of this crime. I can't imagine what it's like But I think that if Casey didn't do it herself, she at the very least knows what went down.

What do you think?

Haven't seen it yet but I think it doesn't come on till late in our area. I want to see it though I have been watching the previews. I think they know something and casy does too. i don;t know if she killed her but I know they know something..

I think she killed her baby. No mother in her right mind could go EVEN one full minute without knowing where their (two year old) child is - and go on living like nothing is wrong. I believe she gave the child something to make her sleep, so she could party and something went VERY wrong.

Soon-to-be-Step-Mommy's picture

I think the same thing. She drugged the child so she could party, and the child didn't wake up. She panicked, and buried her. After putting a heart stick on her mouth of course. Disgusting.

I wanted to watch it, yesterday the blurb said it would be on, but today's episode in my area was about a drug addict not Kasey Anthony. Not that she isn't one

I think she illed her daughter, and I think her parents know it. Her dad seems to be leaning that way. Her mom made 3 different excuses for her behavior in the months after it happened. All 3 medical diagnosis that she never had. It's really sad. I can't imagine thinking the child I raised could do something so disgusting. I need to see part 2 to be sure of my feelings though.

Same here...I think they know it deep down but are in different stages of dealing with it. If Casey had any medical issues, the defense would have brought them up in court. Then she accuses her dad of molesting her growing up. George wouldn't directly say, "I know Casey killed Caylee," but I think that's the message he's conveyed with his actions and what he did have to say about Casey.

I agree with Wedded. I think it was an accident and I think the Anthony's know it but can't prove it.

I remember thinking when I first heard the 911 call from Cindy that 'my car smells like something is dead in it' and then she had an 'Oh Shit' moment.

buttercookie's picture

If it was an accident why didn't she call the authorities when it happened? Accidents happen all the time and parents don't go to jail. One of my aunts in law had a kid get out and drown in a pool, she's overwhelmed with grief and guilt but she was not charged and she did not hide the body.

WeddedBliss.sofar's picture

I don't think it was an accident. Casey was looking up chloroform on the computer and I believe she wanted to use it to make her child sleep through the night so she could go out and party. Something went wrong, and the child died. I believe she intentionally attempted to drug her daughter. After the baby died, I believe Casey just didn't care.....

stormabruin's picture

Of course she killed her...or at least knows who did. What mother wouldn't say a word about her missing for 30 days, & would go about life as though nothing is wrong not knowing where her child is???

A mother who doesn't know where her child is would lose her shit within minutes & would make an effort to find them. Within hours they'd have the police looking.

mlmt1128's picture

Well, the difference there is she was overwhelmed with guilt and grief. This girl just went on living her life. Even if it was an accident, she has got a few screws loose to be so happy go lucky.

Rags's picture

Oh, she did it either in a premedidated and calculating way or out of sheer negligence. Either way she needs to be gone from the land of the living very soon.

This the OJ trial of the 00's. I think the prosecution was inept and the jury was bleary eyed by an attractive single mother who had a tough and sad story.

I have no use for Casey at all and hope that a couple of dedicated Fla good old boy/girl parents with young children use her as gator bait soon.

My wife had our son (my SS) when she was 16 and went on to graduate with her class with honors, her BS with honors, an MBA with honors and is now a CPA. She did not kill her son, she buckled down and buster her ass to provide a life for him and for herself.

There are countless young women who have children as single teen mothers who do not kill their children.

Casey is no mother, if any thing she is a smother because that is exactly what she did to her daughter. I this case the "s" preceding mother does not stand for Step.

Just my thoughts and opinions of course.

This is how I feel, exactly:

That crazy, stupid bitc*, Casey, is responsible for her daughter's death.

And I believe the mom knows, and is in extreme denial. And after losing the beloved granddaughter, did not want to go through losing her daughter too. How difficult to believe your OWN daughter could kill your own granddaughter???? Don't know how I'd react.

I have custody of my granddaughters, 3 and 5 years old. I firmly believe that something horrible would have happened to one or both of them if they were left with my daughter. Too much partying, not enough food around, too many low-lifes hanging around, etc.....

The last time my daughter left them with me and took off (back in February), I filed for custody and won.

Good for you, wedded bliss so far!!! As a person that was raised by my grandmother and her sister, I can tell you that your grandchildren are really fortunate. I loved my Nan and Auntie above all others growing up. And it was tough on them I'm sure cause they were not young when my sister and I came to live with them at 3 and 4. I hate to think where she and I would have ended up without their selflessness.

Rags's picture

Yep, in Texas she would have been feeding the worms by now. As Ron White says "The rest of the states are trying to eliminate the death penalty. In Texas we are building a super highway to the death chamber."

Soon-to-be-Step-Mommy's picture

I have it taped..going to watch tonight. But I do believe Cindy makes excuses for Casey. She doesn't want the world to know the truth...hell I don't think she would believe it even if it happened right in front of her. I feel sorry for them but she needs to just face the facts.

Rags's picture

You sound much like my wife. She had our son (my SS-19) at 16 and went on to finish college, grad school and is now a CPA.

Congrats on your own accomplishments and on being a strong parent to your children.

You and my wife are the perfect examples of why Casey Anthony needs to be fed to the gators in Fla. Being a single teen mother is no excuse for killing your children.

If it was me who had done that to my child, my parents would be on Dr. Phil being asked what they did with my body. My parents would have been the ones helping the police put my ass on death row and not trying to cover up the death of their grand child.

All IMHO of course.

ignoredsm I was looking for the like button lol...I did the very same thing with my 2 kids. i think I did a hell of a job. I went to college too I raised my kids single for 10 years very involved. All activities with both! It has nothing to do with age but the choices you make.

Rags's picture

Daisy,

Ditto what I said above. Congrats on your accomplishments and on being a strong parent for your children.

Best regards,
Rags

Thanks Rags your making me blush. I didn't think anything of it but this is something I have to do it is life. I set the president for my kids and dd18 is now in college with a full ride and my ds is a sr working on getting in school himself. Dd18 has a good head on her as she refuses to have kids til she is ready, ds is scared to do anything for fear he will have a kid. Now all this was me being real with them about my poor choices AND they both brought home that baby doll from school and they HATED that thing. LOL

Rags's picture

Daisy,

Don't ge embarrassed. Be proud of yourself. I am very proud of my wife and bug the crap out of her incessently to get involved in speaking to young teen mothers and telling her story. Just because a kid makes a poor decision to have unprotected sex at a very young age does not mean that they and their child(ren) need to feed the statistics.

You and my DW are so much alike. SS-19 is still a virgin and extremely cognizant of how critical a decision being sexually active can be. Other than the intermittent issues we have had with him when DickHead gains some temporary influence SS has kept his head on pretty straight as it sounds that your kids have.

My wife has kept him well informed on her situation and the SpermIdiots situation when he was conceived.

He is an only child in our home. His SpermIdiot on the other hand ..... 4 OOWL children by three different baby mamas. My SS is his oldest. He can't afford any of them. The SpermGrandParents paid his CS obligation for my SS and are raising the younger three (16, 12, 10) in their home with no help from their SpermDad.

SS lives the examples on both ends of the spectrum. How to become a viable adult after making a poor choice as a teen, and how to exacerbate the situation and not learn from the first poor decision.

Our poor kid has had to repeat the mantra's every time he left the house
with his buddy's or GF. "No glove, no love." and "Wrap it before you tap it."

His friends and GFs all assure us that he absolutely refuses to have sex even when the young women are making there desires abundently clear.

Of course my wife threatening to kill him if he makes her a GrandMother before she is 40 (she backed off of 45) probably has the poor kid scared in to impotence. Only 4 more years before his mom turns 40 and he can figure out what his "special purpose" is for. Wink

Great job mom! Young single parents like you and my DW who grow up fast and deliver on their duty as parents are truly heroes in my book. My parents, though now married for 49yrs, were young when they married (19&17) and had me (21&19). They are two of my heroes also.

Keep up the good work.

Best regards,
