lol i'll be the first to raise my hand to "who gives sparents a bad name" because i know i can be a bitch and i'm not afraid for them to hate me (they already do, so why not ENJOY it?)

It's not a clip, it's a link to a news article. I think the initial "lol" was what seemed an odd comment to a link about a man murdering his stepdaughter. Just internet confusion.

Yep, general population on pick up the soap duty.

Fortunately for us Sparents and unfortunately for kids, far more bioparents do this kind of crap than Sparents.

Rags I was about to say the same thing. Most people don't get it that if they ran the statistics that more bio parents do this then step parents. The same thing is that step parents are the ones that the news seems to target and then we as a group remember. Sad

You know, I have to disagree. It seems like the media and the public are far more incendiary when a biological mother plays (or is alleged to have played) an active role in her own child's death.
