I wish sterilization could be a legal punishment used by the courts.
DH saw on BMs myspace that she and her "fiancé" want to have kids. Keep in mind, this "man" lives in his mom's basement (his parents are divorced and he's likely some poor soul's SS) and has kids he doesn't take care of with multiple women.
If she does have kids I'd feel so sad for them. Her parents have told us bluntly that if she ever had more kids, they'd go before a judge to get custody of them. She is seriously a 40-year-old version of Elizabeth's SD20.
Some people should be sterilized.

My mind is constantly running about this. It seems SO many things in our lives are regulated, but ANYONE can have kids. It doesn't make sense. There should be something.. People have to go through a big process to adopt children; prove their fit parents, can provide for kids, etc. I think everyone should have to do that before they can get pregnant! The world would be so much better.

I completely agree with some sort of prequalifications to breed. I stopped at two because i can afford two. Too many people on welfare popping out more babies every couple years to keep benefits, then getting them labeled as "disabled" one way or another to get more subsidies. It's asinine!

Of course, ideally, the BMs would have been sterilized a long time ago. Neither of them are fit to parent and the girls are just continuing the welfare cycle. Sad.

I've been waiting for
I've been waiting for Horsehead to turn up pregnant again. She's got six kids from four different fathers and the youngest (whose paternity is unclear) is turning 4 soon. That means only one more year of WIC to go and that then no free eggs, milk, cheese, peanut butter, beans, cereal etc.
She's a grandma already and another grandbaby is on the way. I've heard through the grapevine that the oldest and her kid may move in so they can get more state aid coming in. It's despicable.
On her personals ad, she writes that she doesn't want a man who doesn't want a team of children. She's already got enough for a basketball team, I guess she's working on making sure she has the reserves too.

The way I look at it is that she's doing her viewers a favor. Nobody in their right mind would want to join a situation of that. She's saving someone from having to join that nightmare (even if that's not her intent).

It's true. At least she's honest on that one thing. I wish she would have told SO that before he stuck it in her. He would have thought twice about that. But hell, he didn't know about the older three kids til after they were married. Some amazing mother she is! Of course, as much as I love him, I do have wonder how he didn't know that she'd pushed out three bowling balls.But he was super young and inexperienced so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

BM1 is pregnant and is always drunk off her ass and smoking she has never held a job for more than six months and has never had her own home or apartment just jumps from couch to couch and she is admitting 4 different guys could be her babys father. she has got this one guy beleiving he is the dad. And she is ever so excited to share a room with him in his mom's house and collect government aid while her and her boyfriend sit on their asses. This is the same woman that walked out when SS was one year old because it was to hard.
It pisses me off that POS like that can pop out kids like popcorn but amazing mothers stuggle to concive or adopt.
