poor delicate PrinceSS15

We were all standing in the kitchen, getting ready to take the skids back and our dog wagged his tail and "smacked" PrinceSS15 in the leg in mid-wag. OMG, you'd think the skid was whacked in the calf by a professional ballplayer hitting an out-of-the-stadium-homer. BTW, PrinceSS15 is 5'10" and weighs around 150 lbs.

PrinceSS15: Ow, Ow, Ow, Ow, OOOOOWWW!!!
DH: WHAT is your problem???
PrinceSS15: Dog smacked me with his tail!!!
~crickets chirping~
Aniki: DH, you better let BioMonster know we'll be late since we're taking PrinceSS15 to the emergency room.

DH's eyes got really big and suddenly he just BUSTED out laughing. DH laughed so hard, he had to hold on to the sink while tears ran down both cheeks.

DH: PrinceSS15, you better toughen up. They don't let crybabies into the Marine Corps.

At that, PrinceSS15 stomped out the door and got into the car, arms crossed, lip out, and sulking.

Bahahahahahahahahaaaaaa!!!

A fly once landed on me. I needed a cast for a broken arm. Wink

LOL! Your response was priceless!

I swear I was temporarily possessed. NO idea where that response came from. I think it felt into my mouth from another dimension.

I hope you arm has healed nicely and you don't suffer in cold weather and thunderstorms... Wink

Exactly!! DH is a Marine. PrinceSS15 has been saying for a couple of years now that he wants to be a Marine "just like you, dad". As if. A few of PrinceSS15's problems that won't cut it...

1) Desk jockey - the only thing with more muscles than his mouth is his mouse hand
2) Mouth runs constantly unless he is asleep
3) Hates heat (ha! DH was in Desert Storm, kid. you can't tolerate 90 degrees)
4) Scared of crickets and other bugs (part of training is survival and you HAVE TO EAT BUGS)
5) So lazy, he'd be probably be puking before the second mile

Lol! That's too much!

I guess I'm lucky, that isn't something skids do at our house.

However, BM is a hypochondriac. She took one kid to the emergency room because of a temper tantrum and another kid to the ER over a bruise from a skate board fall. This kid is too uncoordinated and soft to have been rolling for more than 10 feet at a time on a flat surface any faster than walking speed. Then there was taking off an entire week from work to stay home with the 11 year old who had a respiratory infection. DH's child support checks make it possible for her to skip work whenever she wants to.

Oh wow! Your post made me actually feel pride in skids for a second. They were able to overcome such a hovering mother and not develop their own hypochondriac behaviors. Lol.

A hypochondriac - ugh! At least we don't have THAT problem with BioMonster. Promiscuity, on the other hand... PrinceSS15 is a Smart-Arse-Know-It-All. He's had a few "girlfriends", but they never last more than 3-4 weeks. I think it's because they find out the SAKIA is not an act - it's how he is in real life - and they drop him like a hot potato.

Pathetic, isn't it?

DH has said in the past that PrinceSS15 is "tougher than you think" and he means mentally tough. I don't care how MENTALLY tough he is - there is no way in Hades this princess of a boy could make it through boot camp.

*Whines it's too hot when the temp exceeds 80. Had to come into the house to cool off 3x in 30 minutes when it was 85.
*Lumbers when he walks because he doesn't seem to know how to bend his knees unless he's sitting.
*Has NO upper body strength, NO core muscles, NO leg muscles. Can't even ride a bike (S12 rides a LOT and said PrinceSS15 can't ride)
*Afraid of crickets/bugs. Refuses to go into our basement (S12 does too) because there are crickets down there. He's so afraid of a few darn crickets he actually waited to use the toilet while I showered and dried and styled my hair. I made sure I took my time and was in there close to an hour. Pretty sure his back teeth were floating...

LOL! Tough man?? PrinceSS15 is anything but. He is so lazy, he whines about walking 15 feet to get DH a drink - and DH works 10-12 hour shifts. Taking a shower means he actually has to STAND for 10 minutes, and he avoids standing whenever possible.

I came home from the store one Sunday. DH was in our bedroom watching TV and there was PrinceSS15, who had not showered all weekend, sitting on our bed.

Me: Oh no, filthy child. Off our bed!
DH: He's not filthy.
Me: He hasn't showered all weekend.
DH: Well, he didn't DO anything to work up a sweat.
Me: He has P.E. in school. Did you shower after P.E. or school on Friday?
PrinceSS15: Um....no...
Me: DH, you all (with S12) walked to the store for ice cream last night in 100 degree weather and came home sweaty and he didn't shower then, so no shower since Friday morning.
DH: Baby, I didn't shower either.
Me: The differences are you don't sweat as much and WE SHARE THIS BED.
DH: PrinceSS15, go take a shower.
PrinceSS15 stalks into bathroom.
DH: Honey, why did that upset you?
Me: 1) He STINKS. 2) He's sitting on our bed. 3) He's 15 years old. His lazy butt can sit on the bloody floor. I'm tired and I want to lie down and read a book. Now I have to change the bloody sheets.
DH: Aaaahhh...you're right. I'm sorry.

I changed the sheets. And everyone knew it.
