Suspended Animation
So my DH took SD13 to dinner & then they did some fishing. Unfortunately there was no talking about our current situation. "She didn't wanna talk about it" Try getting a 13 year old mentally unstable girl to talk and or listen when she doesn't want to. All blaming aside this really keeps me & our blended family in a type of suspended animation with no resolution in sight. No plans for their return. I let him know again that I don't want her around D11 & he agrees.
At this point I am going to give up. She's going to do what she wants to do. She's not my bio. God help society when she enters it as an adult.

I agree & id do the same. The way I see it if she's not willing to talk & her parents aren't willing to make her listen then my hands are tied. I'm done. She's outworn her welcome with her behavior & treatment of her dad & my BD. She can stay away as long as she likes.
I've been told she can't
I've been told she can't control it. Doesn't mean there should be no consequence.
Right now bipolar. In the past I'm not sure but if I were to guess- ADHD & depression & ODD & sensory issues. The list is long.
