Don'tFeedtheTrolls got me thinking....

So Her last blog got me thinking, my friends are wonderful at buying things for my kids, but her blog is about her sister. This made me think about my sisters, who generally are hot messes at Christmas time. My step sister has 3 kids and I have BD, SS & SD to buy for so we just don't do gifts between our families it's too much financially right now. My younger sister on the other hand is a hilariously bad gift giver. For BD's 1st Christmas she gave her a jawbreaker the size of her head (she was 4 months old). She said she thought she could "teeth" on it. Except that's not how babies work.....like at all.

Please tell me all your epic Christmas gift fails.

Not me but my aunt had a number of miscarriages. My other aunt gave her a book for Christmas called... wait for it ... "How To Have Healthy Children". (These were aunts by marriage and not sisters)

WOW. I almost did this sort of thing but it was not intentional at all.

My sister and I tease each other a lot. When she got pregnant the first time, I as a joke bought "How Not To Kill Your Baby."

She miscarried before I could give her the book and I made sure it disappeared. I would have felt horrible had I have given it to her. It really was funny and if she hadn't I know she would have laughed at it's content.
