custody question
I have a question. My fiance and I live together. He has shared legal custody of his son (18) and daughter (14), but he has sole physical custody of both. He has a visitation agreement in place for his daughter, where visitation with her mother is at her discretion. She has been visiting her mother every other weekend and sometimes once a week, but it's not consitent. He has an opportunity to work out of state for a couple of months, and come home one weekend each month. His daughter daughter does not want the visitation to change if he decides to take this opportunity.
My question is, will this have any effect on his custody situation? BM is extremely high conflict, so I can imagine she will not make it easy for him or his daughter.
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Long story short, Bio-mom dropped "uncontrollable" daughter off at our house 2 years ago this past December, and she has been with us ever since. SO finally got physical custody of her about a year and a half ago. Mind you, we didn't have the same issues with SD that bio-mom did. She has done great with us. She does not want to live with her step-father.
There is a ROFR statement in their agreement,and I mentioned that to him, but he said that was before he got physical custody of his daughter. I'm not sure that even matters.
Yes, I am thinking the kids will stay with me full time. She wants to be there, but I know I legally I have zero rights since we are not married.
I never have anything to do with mom!! I made that decision long ago!

If the CO does not have a ROFR clause then it is unlikely that his working temporarily out of town for a couple months will have impact on the custody/visitation situation.
