What is it with keys and locked doors today??
My DH phones frantic: please bring my spare car keys I am at the vet.
WTF? He left 15 mins earlier with my dog to get food for her.
Pull up at the vet, see the Range Rover, see DH "dancing" around the car...
Turns out he ran into the vet left dog in the car - was going to be there for all of 2 mins. Unfortunately he left a 40kg Rottweiler in the car with the keys in the car and a central locking button on the centre consol. Dog sat on it/against it and locked him out. Keys IN the car!! Dogs ass on central locking!
So there is DH, dancing around the car, doing the doggy equivalent of here kitty kitty, to get my Rotty to nudge the central locking button again to unlock the car!

He drove the dog to the vet's office. Maybe your dog was trying to frame him for leaving it in a car on a hot day?

If there were no keys he would have gotten a busted window from me!
Of course no one will steal a car with a Rotty in it, but it's not wise to leave a dog in the car- even for two minutes. She taught him a lesson!
