5 days late

Ok I know some of you are less than happy with my dh at the moment (I'm less than happy too) but still 5 days late. This has never happened to me before. I kept nipping to the toilet all day expecting my period to start but it hasn't. Today is myself and dh's 4 year anniversary. I was going to buy a tear today but thought it may be too early?? When is the best time? Was thinking of waiting until Saturday when I have the luxury of time in the morning granted period hasn't come by that stage . That will take it to 7 days late. Still too early to test??

I've never been this many days late I don't think. Unless I have miscounted my days but obsessing over them I don't think so. I have no symptoms although thought I was getting a slight period pain the other day. Boobs have been unusually tender that's about it.

I'm resisting all temptation to buy a test but don't want the disappointment! Bit paranoid now that I have a period pain!

Get one of the "Early Response" ones (they're labeled). Those can actually give you a result BEFORE you missed a period. Smile By 5 days late most of the over the counter tests will be able to tell you.

A lot of them come in 2-packs. I would totally not be able to resist taking one tonight and the other tomorrow, if it were me! Wink

Of course, the last time we were trying to get pregnant (which took almost 2 years and 3 miscarriages), I also bought a bunch of super-cheapies on the internet. Seriously, like 100 pregnancy tests for $20. Lol I peed on sticks like it was going out of style.

I took my early response the day I was due to have my period and it came back positive.

The sore boobs and the can't stand strong smells gave it away.

Haha - I was on BC pills and missed two periods before I went in to get tested. I had no clue about tetracycline and BC pill issue. They told me if I had a boy, he'd probably be deformed. But he was perfect. Smile

My only weird symptoms were breast tenderness and severe fatigue.

I'm going to try to hold out until Saturday morning very nervous, just one more day of work to get through

I found out 8 days after conception but I the day my period was suppose to start my boobs were all achy and I didn't feel like eating as much. I ended up going out of town for the rest of the week and tested when I got back home in the middle of the night.

Also just within the three or four days after Auntie Flow was expected, I tried on one of my strapless bras and it was literally two sizes two small. My boobs grew that fast :O So I pretty much knew it was going to be positive when I got back home and tested.
