O/T Credit Card Companies changing Due Date
As of late I've received two letters saying they are moving my due date from the 25th/28th to the 5th/8th respectively. I pay my balance off every month several days before the due date anyway so wondering why this is done other than maybe try to "catch" me paying late so they can collect interest? I'm aware that I can call the company and tell them that I want my due date moved back to the original date and they will probably need to say yes since my credit score hovers around 800, but I digress.
Any thoughts?

Hmmmm...I have 1 card for points/cash back. I have not noticed this yet. Do you think the change adds on more interest for persons who DO not pay off balance each month?
I'm thinking

That's my biggest gripe with these companies - they're all trying to trick us into moving to paperless by having multiple screens where you can accidentally click on paperless before you can get where you're going on their websites. Annoys the heck out of me.
yeah
i almost never opt for paperless/auto pay. I heard this man died and wasn't discovered because his utilities and everything was paid by autopay.
I get the paper bill, note the due day and correlate it with the pay period before in my outlook.
simple.
