Will she or won't she?

So, I signed up for the United States Postal Service Informed Delivery service, which means that each morning, I get an email with the images of what's coming in the mail today.  I both love and hate this service, but that's a story for another day.

Just got the email and saw the image that made me throw up in my mouth a little bit - a letter from the MedusaCounty Income Review Unit.

Here in Michigan, you can see those documents online via the payment portal, so I logged in to see what fresh hell awaits me when I get home from work today.  Turns out, it's just the statutory "hey, it's been 36 months since your last review and by law you can have another one if you want it, so do you want it?" letter.

Now the waiting game begins - will Medusa want a review?  Who knows?  I texted DH, who said, "well, my guess is since she has taken such a beating there over the years, and she's likely making more documented income now, she will take a pass."

I hope he's right.

Silver lining?  BabyVoice is 16 so this is the last one we will ever have to deal with!!!

The light at the end of the tunnel is close! That must feel pretty good. I'm with your DH, if she's smart (oh wait...) she won't stir the hornet's nest.

Yeah, my gut instinct is that she is making more money now than she was three years ago, and doesn't want us to know that.

I think she will take a pass, too, but we shall see.

Yeah, she turned 16 last month.  She's taking her road test on Monday and hopefully she will pass the test so the kid driving days for DH and me can finally end!!

Medusa is still over 4K in arrears.  Her obligation now that there is only one skid is about $600 a month.  She makes roughly monthly payments of about $500.  It's going to be awhile til she is done paying her child support...
