nothing but the BEST for the SS
It's a dumb rant but it pisses me off. I am not one to waste money and I search for great deals on second hand stuff all of the time from clothes to furniture etc. Everything in my daughter's room and the new arrivals room is second hand.....we have a ton of second hand toys, clothes etc for the young kids, my biological kids and that's fine but last night I suggested buying a new dresser for hubby and I and giving SS13 our old one and hubby was like, why can't he have a new one? But it's like that with everything....nothing but the best for king shite of turd island.....who is with is 4-6 days a month.
pisses me off!!

(SIGH) Ran into that one too! I had a perfectly GOOD metallic bunk bed for the hellions that GG INSISTED I get rid of (b/c it was Awesomeson's) nothing wrong with it. I went out and bought WOODEN bunk beds brand new. Was peed in about a total of 40 weekends before they all PASed out.
I bought a 2nd hand lovely WOODEN bedroom set for VD to match the bunk beds. . .b/c it was 2nd hand he told me that it "looked like a coffin"
Yeah right. She PASed out and I donated it to charity. Waiting to rid myself of the "boys" bunkbeds. . .Early January, new years and all that RA RA!!
And here I have a cheapo bedroom set from the eighties and a cheapo tile top dining room set from the early nineties but his brats had to have brand new. . .:sick:

it's so annoying when it seems no one is as important as the skids.I can't imagine the enormous amount of pressure the husband's are under.They want to give everyone the best of everything but just can't.So they have to pick and choose and naturally the skids come first because *insert tears and sniffles*they are so traumatized from divorce and what if they start liking moms house better?*more sniffles and tears*and they shouldn't have to suffer just bc dad remarried and had more children.

I am the same way - nothing wrong with getting a bargain or some good second-hand stuff. But I have to pay $45 for a winter coat for a 2 year old that we will only see and she will only use 10 times this winter and she will grow out of it by next year? Do you think she really cares what brand/color it is? She's TWO!

I'm evil. }:) I get this attitude actually from SD. She wants the other available bedroom and new stuff to decorate it with. At which point, I lead her into her room and show her the destruction she has caused on the carpet, furniture, walls, and sliding closet doors. Then I leave.
