Well, here comes Summer and for all you SMs out there in SM Hell who have already or are counting down the days until your Skids arrive , you have my sincere sympathies !!! I remember the bad ol' days when THAT two week visit seemed to drag on for what seemed like two months !! ( DH was a Every Weekend Dad as it was, with maybe one or two exeptions PER YEAR , plus skids would longer visit over Easter and Christmas !!! Ahhhh !!!)

Anyway, on to my update, a couple of things have happened recently. You may remember I commented recently on how younger skid " avoids " chatting to DH online by avoiding sites where he goes etc ? Well, DH actually noticed this and mentioned it to me, asking " Do you think younger skid is avoiding me online ?? I've noticed I log off from ------ site and then five mins later skid appears ???? And sometimes he doesn't talk to me, apart from hi ?? " I didn't actually reply, just gave him the kinda look, you know the FINALLY you get it look !! Lol !!

DH has also noticed that younger skid has caught sd21's favourite habit of not answering their phone when dear old Dad rings !!! ( I've posted about this before too !!) As I am disengaged it is hard to even comment on these sort of conversations with DH, because I know I am one sentence away from the reopening of the same old mouldy Skid Can of worms !!!! Grrrr !!!

What I would really like to GRILL him over is if sd21 discussed actually working this Summer with him, and why oh why, is it that younger skid cannot EVEN find a weekend job after almost a year after finishing School ???? Apparently, when he DOES actually chat to them ( rather than a memail or two ) ALL these topics are NEVER raised, how strange ????
