I really don't know what to say to DH

I want to make this short and sweet.

All week DH left for work by atleast 6 am and the earliest he got home was about 9 pm. He ended up having to work Saturday too this week. So he really hadn't even seen the kids since last weekend. When he got home Saturday around 2 pm he was all happy to spend time with the kids. They played catch in the yard and all in all was an all right day. Once he got home I left him with the kids and went about my business in the house. I try to disengage as much as possible when he is home. Mainly so he can get the real picture of what I actually go through with SD8. The day seem to go pretty smoothly, but I could see DH annoyed with SD8 and her BS. OH well.

We just bought a new TV for SD8's bedroom so after dinner DH went to hook everything up. It didn't take long before I heard DH yelling. I really don't know what exactly happened. SD4 was watching TV in the living room and BS9 was in his room reading. I stepped outside to smoke and DH joined. DH then says to me, "I don't know what to do anymore. I really can't stand SD8. She is so out of control. She has no respect for anybody or anything. She is so ungrateful. I don't even like to be around her." My mouth kinda dropped. I didn't say anything. I didn't know what to say. He then goes on about how he enjoys being around SD4 and BS9 but just can't stand to be around SD8. He says he doesn't know what to do. He knows that she would be 10x worse if she went to live somewhere else. :jawdrop: I couldn't believe he was considering this. He said when he gives the kids hugs and kisses/lovings it always feels fake with SD8. He tells me he does love her, he wants the best for her, but he just doesn't like the person she is and he really doesn't even want to be around her. A big part of me wanted to scream "Welcome to my world DH!!" I love the kid. I would kill anybody that ever tried to hurt her. I want the best things in life for her, but I personally can not stand to be around her.

I really am at a lose as to what to say to DH. The list of issues this kid has is too long to go through, and now I kind of feel bad for her.

It's not even a behavior thing. It's a personality thing.

There is NO rule that says I have to like her. If there was YOU all wouldn't be here.

Yes, I was shocked to hear DH say these things about his DH. That was the whole point in my post. I believe the moral of the story was: I don't even know what to suggest he do if this is how he is feeling.

I yanked the new flat screen TV out of my skids room & hid the controller for the PS3, the last time he cursed me out. Nope, you getting nasty with me is more proof you're watching too much Shameless & playing to many shootout games till 4AM.

He got caught for plagiarizing homework, which he swore up & down wasn't true with meltdowns, that I took away the laptop for thinking we were that stupid not to be able to Google the words to the entire essay. He was only allowed to use the limited GUEST account on DH's laptop after the 3rd time (which we're sure he copied from his i-phone).

He had a major meltdown, threw things at walls & left till 3AM the other night after he was caught lying, so before he went on his trip to Grandmas, we confiscated his i-phone. You can use Grandma's foreign object with a curly cord that rings.

THESE are luxuries for children to even use as their own. We had a mini fridge in his room when he first came to stay with us. He was truly set up with everything. One by one, he allowed himself to lose those luxuries.

LMAO@ Leash. Yeah I didn't want to take them away. It's like a waste, everything we got him is just sat in another room not being used. I learned the hard way here, I expected SS to be like my BD with stuff. But alas there are just some kids/people you can give nice gifts too & they'll appreciate it & then there's some kids/people that just keep giving you there Christmas list in July.
