How old is OSS? And yeah, he's got some balls assuming he's staying. Please have a glass for me.

Geez, I'm sorry and afraid to ask why he was in jail. 23 is an age where it's past time to get your crap together. Have a job, your own car, be working on bettering yourself to expand career options.

Pour a big glass!

He's been in for pills/drugs and grand theft.
All the more reason i don't want him here

I'm sorry. Do you have any bios in the home? I would not want him in my house either and absolutely not if there are any other kids (step included) in the home.

stepsonhatesme's picture

No there aren't any other kids. .. they are all grown and gone. But my dh and i just bought a New home just over a month ago. We have alot if newer things, and all of our meds that we keep in the kichen. Now i have to hide them and i have to stayt up all night bc I don't trust him.

My dh it's now going to owe me BIG TIME! !!!

GRRRRRR

I'd tell him to take his stuff with him when he went to AA as DH and yourself will be going to bed early tonight and then say goodnight as he left....

stepsonhatesme's picture

Yea we thought he was going but he said "I made an appointment, bc tonight's meeting is 1.5hrs and i have to get some sleep so i can wgo to work in the morning"
He hasn't left the house since he got here.
It's now almost 930pn and he's still awake. The AA meeting would have been getting over right about now. But yet he couldn't go.

Im so bring stressed and pissed!!!

You KNOW what skipping AA meetings means, right? Does your DH really, truly understand? I would consider SS an ACTIVE ADDICT and treat him accordingly. All meds under your pillow. All portable electronics placed in your bedroom, etc.

stepsonhatesme's picture

I'm staying awake all night. The meds are sitting in the chair with me. The laptops are upstairs in ethe bdroom with dh.
The only jewellery that we own are our wedding rings. .. that we have on.
He said that he's not ordered to go to AA but he's going for himself.
I'm beyond pissed!!!!!!
If we had extra $$ to put him in a cheap motel i would have done that right off the bat
He'd better find somewhere else to stay tomorrow bc he's not even coming back in my house. .....and i don't care who says what

Mydh just went up to bed, he asked if I'd be up in s little bit. .
I told him if see him in the morning.
I don't trust ss and I'm not leaving him to roam our house all night.

6am can't get here soon enough.

Argh, both of you need to use your words & tell OSS that this isn't ok. Neither one of you wanted him there, why was he there? Don't be afraid to stand up for yourself. That's what OSS was banking on.

stepsonhatesme's picture

He left this morning supposedly to go to work. He left stuff at our house. ..when i get home from work in bagging it up and putting it out on the front porch! !

I'm not leaving it up to my dh this time. . I'm speaking up and telling him to get out/find done other place to stay.

Sally, and i do have a nice solid oak baseball bat that my son made me a few years ago and I've never gotten to use it yet. .. it might be a good time lol

Don't let him spend another night there.

Years ago, we let DH's drunk brother spend a night on our couch (after getting in a physical fight with his sister, who he was staying with) and as mean as it sounds, when we left for work early the next morning, DH made his brother leave. He knows his family too well, our place would have become his place. One night was all that was allowed.

When we got home from work, we realized that he drank all of our beer in the night. DH thought that was really rude!
