HA! Okay, today started out decent, the SDs weren't fighting like they usually do on the weekends, we all went with DH to run a few errands, yadda yadda yadda. Well........ we get home, and lo and behold! SD10 had told us that her chores were done. I had to call Bullsh*t on THAT one. so, I asked her WHY the dishes hadn't been done in 4 (Yes 4) days. her response? " I didn't FEEL like it." REALLY? I don't really give a damn what you FEEL like doing. (I told her to get them done, at 10:20 at night mind you. More on that in a minuet). Then I told her that since she didn't "feel" like doing her chores, apparently she didn't "Feel" like playing for the next 4 days. Here we go with the eye roll, and the whiny "But I WANNA" BS. DH told her point blank "well, seeing as how you don't FEEL like doing what your SUPOSED to do, then you don't FEEL like doing what you want to." we get the standard "I'm sorry" (yeah heard that so many times i lost count) well, DH told her to do the dishes and SD goes STOMPING across the house, DH made her come back and WALK correctly into the kitchen. she then starts whining, "BUT I"M TIRED" DH told her "Sorry, you should have done this when you were suposed to" Well, while SD is doing dished, DH goes into their room to tuck the younger one in and notices SD10s bed has NO sheets, after DH had told her 3 times today to get her bed made. so, DH comes back into the kitchen and tells SD "Guess youe sleeping on the floor tonight" and she looks at him like he has 2 heads or something and says "WHYYYYYY?" and he tells her "You know the house rule, beds are made every morning, you chose to not obey that rule, so I don't FEEL like letting you sleep in your bed" (SD is STILL looking at DH like he has 2 heads) ALl freaking week SD has decided to pick and choose which rules she wants to follow, shes finding out REAL fast that is NOT working in her favor. *sigh* hopefully tomorrow will be better
