Things could get interesting in parent meeting

I love it when SS7 blurts out interesting info when others are around, especially since I just found out that HE will be in the room when the psychologist talk to BM and DH in June.

I took SS7 to his therapy appointment and DH asked me to ask a few questions about his upcoming Psychiatric (with a psychologist) testing to narrow down his problems at school. Questions like what to expect and who all needs to attend. Therapist checked into it and found that Psychologist because of his age would like SS7 (who will be 8 by then) to be present for the parent meeting and step-parents MAY attend if they like. I am undecided and may have to watch SS5.

Any way we were standing there talking to Therapist about his session. She asked me if were had any issues since last meeting and I said "no major melt downs, still some minor things", she asked how SS5 was doing (because SS7 has complained about SS5 being loved more and it special needs) and I said that he has been a little bossy lately but I thought it was just his age/ a phase. SS7 interrupts with "SS5 has major melt downs at mom's." Therapist and I exchange intrigued looks. SS7 went on about it a little and asked why that was. We both stuttered a little and finally Therapist said "Well there is nothing we can do about that, I guess your mom is going to have to address that problem."

BM lies a lot so I am wondering how having SS7 present will affect her, I am guessing not at all but wondering if he will chime in when she lie or just agree with her. He does like to argue at times (what kids doesn't?) At our house BM has lied a few times and when we ask SS7 we get a completely different story. SO it could get interesting. Maybe she should start coaching him on what to say now... lol

Not sure yet. I was invited to the parent meeting with therapist and BM's hubby went too but didn't have much to add. As a SAHM I tend to have some useful info about the odd behavior in question. And it nice to hear their take on it first hand but I trust DH to tell me what I need to know.

I kind of want to see what BM does or says. And I think some times it helps when BM lies if I am there to back up what DH claims happens at our house but we are working on getting written statements from him teacher.

So I guess I don't know. Part of we wants to go but I also know that it's really none of my business ironically enough since I do spend 50% of my time dealing with him.
