Anyone else catch the Ask Amy letter from Saturday 6/22?

Just the fact she (not just the letter writer) used the term Stepmonster to refer to a SM makes me want to give her a big smack in back of the head.

She may have been being sarcastic. Because she has written about step family dynamics before favoring the skid POV, that I leaned towards believing she is a skid herself.
I have never agreed with her step advice.

Same ol' Pollyanna drivel. Kid with A.S.S. (adult spousal status) suddenly loses said "authority" when a real adult arrives interested in PARENTING and not PLACATING. DH develops immediate loyalty conflict while skids enjoys every bit of the fighting between DH and SM.
