Uh oh. Don't let my DH see this. He does whatever leftover dishes are in the sink before he goes to bed.

I told DH it was all lies and propaganda from male dominated news media and the League of Mens Dish Pan Hands.

I'll tell you what, I know who's not getting any if he stops helping with the dishes. We live in an old house, no dishwasher.

I would use this as a model... Men who HELP their wives/partners with the same chore have more sex.

When DH helps me with laundry, folding laundry, dishes, vaccuming etc I feel closer to him and more 'turned on.

All of that is just bullshit. Ninety percent of the women I have know (now I'll admit most are not mothers) complain that the men do not want sex as much as they do.

My DH fills AND empties the dishwasher, takes care of all the trash, and sometimes even vacuums. He calls it "choreplay".

I guess I find that traditional gender roles work for us, but we are both very traditional people. I never get more turned on than when I'm watching him fix something or change my oil, etc Covered in grease and oil, sweaty and smelly as hell and I'm so ready to go! But SO is really good about pitching in to vacuum, do laundry, pick up the house and some dishes here and there!
