My kids aren't perfect, but they're pretty damn close.

I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with Instagram, but it's a photo-sharing social media app. I have to share this, because if I don't recognize the GOOD in my life, I may truly lose my mind.

My 17 year old son posted a picture of me, my mother, and my daughter on Wednesday, which on Instagram is known as #WomanCrushWednesday .

This is what he wrote under it:

"I don't know what I'd do without these wonderful ladies. First off, my beautiful grandma; this woman is 69 years young (bet you couldn't tell!) and just gets prettier with age. She is an absolute saint, she would do anything for her kids and grandkids. She has spoiled me like crazy over the years. Then there's my mom: yup, I'm a mama's boy. This woman is beautiful inside and out! We fight like crazy sometimes but I love her so much and I don't know where I'd be right now without her support and guidance. She tries her absolute hardest to be the best mom she can be, and I'd say she does a damn good job! She loves harder than anyone I have ever known. Last but not least, my little sister: She's growing up so fast, seems like just yesterday we were taking her home from the hospital. I always wanted a little sister when I was younger and I'm glad I have one now. She's growing into a beautiful young lady. I pray no boy ever hurts her because, if they do, you best believe that I'm coming for their ass! Love you, sis! Just thought it was time to give some well deserved recognition to these 3 amazing women because Lord knows I don't do it enough."

And you know what? This is how my children LIVE. This is how they treat people on a regular basis. This wasn't just lip-service, or ass-kissing to manipulate and get something out of it. My children know LOVE. They know RESPECT and KINDNESS and APPRECIATION. They are the reason I live and breathe. They have gotten me through the SK drama and bullshit. Thank you, God, for my kids!

Ladies, whatever you're going through, try to focus on the LOVE that you DO have in your life. Smile

Thank you! It DID make my day. I have a hard time taking credit for these kids....I think God just gave me easy kids to raise because he knew I'd have so many other problems in life! lol! But all three of my children are very well-liked by their peers, teachers, anyone that comes in contact with them. They are truly amazing.

Thank you! Sometimes it hurts to know that I appreciate them SO much more after dealing with SKs. Sad I'm glad you have wonderful kids, too. I think we really need to focus on that!

Thank you! I AM SO proud of him! And this may sound ugly, but I have to clarify to all of you, that he's not a "mama's boy" in the stereotypical way. lol. He has a beautiful girlfriend, he actually graduated high school a year early, was Homecoming King his senior year of high school, he has so many freaking friends that it's not unusual to have 20 kids at my house on a weekend night....lol. (Bonfire tonight! You're all invited!) He's just GOOD. You can't help but love him. My other two children are the same way. I HAVE to stop dwelling on the SDs that are full of hate. It's not fair to my kids.

You are obviously a great mum. I mean that. How beautiful to have your child write that. I bet your skids don't even get close to aporeciating the love and support that could have been theirs too if they were nice.

What a great kid you have! Someone raised him right! Smile Pat yourself on the back for a job well done, too many kids nowadays would never post something nice like that!

Thanks, ladies! I question nature vs. nurture, but I'm SO thankful for my three kids!
