Happy 31st anniversary my love.
31 years of making our life of adventure and love for the ages together.
In 31 years together we have raised a man of character, honor, and standing in his life, his profession, and his community. Thank you for making me a dad and letting me be his dad.
We have seen much of the world, lived in a fair bit of it, built careers, had some challenges, shared many triumphs, and I would not have missed any of it. Not one smile, not one argument, not one beautiful sunrise or sunset, not one storm, not one challenge, not one of your sparkling laughs, or even one tear while holding each other when we have grieved.
I pray that we have another 31 together, that those we love prosper, that we step forward hand in hand in every step together.
You are my sunshine my beautiful. You calm my soul, you bring joy to my life.
I am blessed to have a place in yours.

What an accomplishment. It's
What an accomplishment. It's rare these days to find people as committed as you and your bride. I hope you get to enjoy many more years together!
Happy Anniversary! Celebrate!
Happy Anniversary! Celebrate! *drinks*
All the best to you and Mrs. Rags!
Congratulations, Rags, to both you and your 'bride'! Like you, I am fortunate to have a mate blessed with character, kindness and decency. We are both grateful to have enjoyed over 40 decades of a solid marriage and are convinced that a loving relationship is the key to happiness in life.
DH and I will be celebrating our own Anniversary later this month with SO MUCH to celebrate!
Happy anniversary to you two too!
40 decades! That, is a very long and successful marriage.
My mom and dad hit 63 the month before we hit 31. My brother and my SIL will hit 32 in a couple of months. I am the only marital retread in my side of our marriage and also in my IL clan.
I crashed and burned the first time I played the marriage lottery. But the second time... is looking good so far.
Dang!
Don't know how that zero got in there!
Four hundred years would be quite an accomplishment.
Hope your celebration was divine!
ETA: Showed the post to my DH who laughed heartily, though he wishes that 40 decades were possible!
I am with your DH on the 40decades. I would take that in a secon
I am with your DH on the 40decades. I would take that. And more.
Though I am absolutely sure that a love for the ages is possible. You've got that. Us too.
Enjoy each other.
On our celebration, we decided to forego anything major this year. We did 10 days on the big island in Hawaii last year for our 30th. All on points!
This year we had a nice relaxed dinner at our go to Mediterranean place and watched a movie holding hands.
She does not know it yet, but I did get her the rose gold wedding band she has been hinting at for a few years. I had it custom made and it will not show up until late next week. I will give it to her on her B-day on the 24th as a combo anniversary/50th B-day gift. I am digging in on finding a snooty foodie restaurant and maybe a weekend at one of the major resorts on the Strip. Though odds are she will not go for that since it will be in the middle of Fall tax season. If I book it and insist, she will stress herself out over not working.
She picked the wrong career for major late Aug B-day blow outs.
