Although I really don't like shuffling the skids around like a chauffeur, having them back in school once again is giving me a much needed relief during the day. Since this is the longest I have had to take care of them practically non-stop (it didn't help that my husband was away on business for 4+ days a week) I was just about ready to jump off a cliff with all the "I'm hungry" and "I'm bored".

It was super nice of my FIL and his wife to take the kids for a month to his condo in Florida with his wife, but he would call me almost weekly to complain about their behavior. He is their bio-grandpa and HE can't stand to be around them?! He basically told me he would NEVER volunteer to take them for that long again.

Well, FIL just called today stating he's back stateside and wanting to come and visit over the weekend. I hope he offers to watch the skids, even if its just so DH and I can have a date night!
