Speaking of Mother's Day . . .

Happy Mother's Day to all you moms and stepmoms (including dog and cat and other pet moms) out there! 

I don't have (human) kids, but I am celebrating that this is my second year heading into Mother's Day NOT seeing the extreme forced Mommy Worship that takes place annually on social media by my skids--the over-the-top wuv and kisses and hugs and gushing these two adult skids have done for years. It has always been so over-the-top that it comes off as dictated and disingenuine.  

Meanwhile--the part that always got to me--they have publicly acted like they don't even have a father. Maybe they want to act like their mother managed a virgin birth 2x. I don't know. All I do know is that it feels good not to witness the annual display because I finally blocked the skids last year and see nothing from them any longer. 

Enjoy the upcoming weekend! I will!

Even before I went "no contact" with DHs kids....I had them all blocked on social media. To being with, they are all attention hungry humans. They literally need the "high" of attention constantly. And the BM was the queen of their worlds. So, yeah, I long disconnected from the ungodly worship of the BM. I can only imagine how it is now since the BM passed. LOL

Happy Mother's Day, StepTalkers!  Here in the UK we have Mother's Day in March, obviously never been a thing for me and the Madams, but up until he shelled out for their flat deposits, both SDs ignored Father's Day as well.  Now, he gets a card!  Amazing what money will do - eyeroll smiley!

I can relate. I understand where you're coming from. My oldest sd 35 takes pics of only my husband on birthdays, special occasions.... we don't do social media but I can assure you that her dad (my DH) still appears to be single on her platforms even 5 years later. Lol What can you do? Nothing lol

Fabulous results you gained by blocking them, I love it! I'm now considering blocking them all! Has anyone done that? I'm curious! If so, what was your tipping point and what were the results?
