DH got on days and I'm so excited to be on the same shift. I've been working from home so I still see him but it's different when I'm in "work status".  Gotten used to working from home it's gonna be rough going back to the office. Anyone else in this boat? No commute, work in PJ's all day, wake up literally 5-10 minutes before work starts?!?! I hated it at first but I could continue like this for as long as they let me lol.

I love it. I'm very sad about all the deaths from COVID, but pandemic life suits me just fine.  I've even lost weight from not eating all the junk that shows up at work, and not going out to lunch.

Love work from home! My commute is usually 3 hrs per day so the time and energy saved is invaluable. I cannot go back to daily commuting. Luckily my work is remote through January at the earliest. After that, we'll likely have to go in only once or twice a week. The key was NO manager complained about any remote workers. In fact they said we were working our behinds off. Yes, my department is fantastic!

3 hours! Dear god. No wonder people are working harder, they aren't exhausted from sitting in traffic for hours.

There have been many studies showing remote workers are more productive than those in an office. Hopefully this will change the way we do things.

I am so much less tired in the evening working from home, and I only have a 25 minute commute.

I think a lot of the changes and accommodations caused by COVID will become permanent. Employers are realizing their businesses can thrive without the high overhead of maintaining large office spaces. Perhaps this will drop more $$ to the bottom line for both workers and employers?

This pandemic is proving to be a catalyst for change. We're living in interesting times.

I have a fairly new job that I really like, but my manager is super anti work from home (she is the martyr type that works 10+ hours a day, every day).

I love it. I have a feeling the option will remain to work from home as much as possible for us.
