DH gets a call asking if he was willing to be a reference for known-by-everyone-as-irresponsible BM!!! What is she thinking?!? Her car has been repoed due to her not paying and now she wants to take a loan and have DH approve to be a reference? And we are in no way whatsoever friendly mind you. Is it just me or is it still polite to ask before putting someone down as a ref or at least notifying that person to let them know what it is for. Her reasoning boggles my mind.
