Fun Ride on Friday
SD14 texts me last night and says that BM's van broke down and wont be fixed by the weekend so she wanted to know if I would take her and BM to SD14th's Jr. High graduation. In addition after graduation could I take her to the town she use to live in last year so that she can spend the night at her friends (20 min drive one way) and then on Sunday could I pick her up and bring her back to her BM's.
UGH!
I cant wait until the ride to her graduation with my DH, SD14 and her BM. (DH hates her) Fun times ahead. I just want to get the end of this school year for both of girls behind us already. One down and SD14 to go!

IMHO you dont have any
IMHO you dont have any obligation to take BM any where. I wouldn't take BM anywhere. If she honestly wants to go that bad then she can find her own way.
and if SD wants to go somewhere on BM weekend then let BM figure out how she will get SD there and back. Or make BM pay for you for the gas to do it.
But, it does make you feel good to have her ask you.
DH and I already talked about
DH and I already talked about whether I would take BM to graduation...and whether or not I would take SD14 to her friends and back over the weekend. I didnt even respond to SD14's inquiry until the next day. I simply said yes. It's her graduation from Jr. High and she is excited about being a freshmen...I want her to enjoy it and have fun with her friends and share her excitement. I dont relish the car rides or the company of BM but it will make SD happy. I know if I didnt do it BM wouldnt go and it would be my fault in SD's mind...and truly I dont want to deal with that and the storm it would bring....so I will do it...but I will be thinking evil thoughts as I look at BM in the rearview. LOL
SD14 sent me a text today
SD14 sent me a text today that BM got an unexpected check (?) :? in the mail today so they should have enough to fix there van....so....I get out of the fun ride! Yay!
