I don't know if anyone has seen this yet, but it's DEFINATELY worth looking at.
The first link is to the article in the Toronto (Ontario) Star, telling about the case, and the decision by the Ontario Superior Court. The second link is for the actual court documents, and the Court's decision...
NOTE: I was having trouble with the link for the Court, but I'm assuming that it's a pretty busy page today.

I couldn't open the second link but read the first article. I absolutely agree with it. These crazy BM's should not be allowed to do this to their children and get away with it. It is abusive as far as I'm concerned and just as damaging as physical abuse. Unfortunately the courts, lawyers, and a lot of these so called professionals don't always get the "whole picture" and side with the BM so fathers often end up giving up.

Yea for Canada... I wonder how much that poor dad spent over the years in legal fees. In the end Im sure he thinks its money well spent.

Interestingly, the one article pointed out how most children are susecptible to the effects of PAS between 10-11 yrs old.

This was EXATCLY the age of middle SD (now 16) when BM did most of her brainwashing/damage with them. And she is the one who is most severely affected now through all of this.

Coincidence? I think NOT!

... and I'm sure any family lawyer worth their salt is probably logging in to read it...
Hopefully if you try the link later, it should work...
I also think the fact that the judge who made the decision is a woman, should say alot...

I think the good ole USA needs to jump on board here. It is such a shame that the men are always on the losing end here when there are a lot of good guys out there trying to do right by their children. Very refreshing to read this article...

I think there needs to be much more awareness about Parental Alienation Syndrome and how bad it is for both the parent who is bashed by the other parent and the children who have to listen to the bashing. This should be talked about on every major news station, be a headline in every newspaper, and be a huge news bit on the internet. We have the SDs for this very reason- BM bashed DH and me repeatedly to them and we had to get the courts to step in to do what is right for the kids. I'm glad for this dad, and I'll pray for him and his kids. I'll also pray for the mom, that she wakes up one day and realizes that what she did was wrong.

Just watch what you blog up there. Freedom of speech — they could work on that a bit.

After reading some of the comments, I'm very interested in reading the court documents. The lady sounds like a real whacko.
