I can do it, I can do it...my motivation talk to myself for the day!

Only 3 more days until the brats go home! They have been with SO for only 6 days so far and I feel my blood pressure rising whenever I have to be around them. Its kinda funny because I bought an Apple watch and it has the heart rate feature that tracks my BPM every 10 minutes and I can literally watch it increase at night when I'm there!

SO babying an 11 year old boy, but the 12 1/2 year old girl is free to come and go as she pleases. This boy cannot do anything on his own without daddy jumping into help like he is completely incapable or has 2 broken arms.
I was at his house for 3 1/2 hours one evening a few nights ago and the kids were in and out of the kitchen no less than 4 times while I was there. SO asks if they had dinner to which they reply yes, but then he just continues to let them do what they want
They scream and yell throughout the house including walking in front of the tv that we are trying to watch 25 times in a 3 hour period. The 11 year old still plays like a 5 year old in some of the stupid shit that he does.
Their house is trashed! OMG I don't know how anyone lives like that! You can't see the kitchen countertop, there are toys, shoes, pillows, etc. all over the living room.
Is it too much to ask that a 11 and 12 year old actually scrape off the uneaten food from their plate into the garbage and either put the plate in the dishwasher or even in the sink? Nope, they just leave PILES of dirty plates and half eaten food laying around all over the counter.

I thank my stars everyday that I don't have to live with that, but even having to witness the behavior, the coddling of a pre-teen boy, the disgusting filth that they live in is enough to drive me crazy and increase my blood pressure!

They leave on Friday to go back home thank goodness but only come back the following weekend for another 3 day stay. I might have to make myself even more scarce than I already do. My SO and I alternate whose house we go to at nights to spend time together when the kids are there so the little babies can have sleepovers and it's getting to the point on the days he doesn't come here, I may just still stay home.

Wow only 7 more years of all this fun. Honey maybe time to get back "out there" and cut your losses with this situation... just sayin.
