FSS just turned 5. Sometimes his words come out a little slurred, so it's hard to understand him. When we asked him what he wanted for his birthday it took us a while to understand that the word he was pronouncing was "dynamite." He also asked for a match, so that he could light the dynamite.

When asked why he wanted dynamite, he said--word for word-- "To blow up Santa."

Before you think FSS is mentally disturbed, this kid is PETRIFIED of Santa. FDH has a picture in our kitchen of him with the mall santa, and FSS is screaming his head off. It's really pretty hilarious, because FSD is sitting there too looking perfectly serene. I guess we should be happy that he's facing his fears?
