She is old enough to swear

Last night the little brat tried to give me attitude and swore. so she lost her phone and had plenty of objections.
one of the silly things she was telling me that she is almost old enough to swear. WTF????

I said not in this house, not around me or DS5

I said she could have used another word to show her frustration/objection. Instead of saying Bullsh.t, like not fair. Wrong etc but not swearing.

She said that "word kids would say that" besides she would sound like a spoiled brat that if she said that with all calmness I can manage I said "do you think how you are behaving otherwise?" She answers "probably not but it's okay, i don't care"

I really can't win with this little monster

I still don't swear in front of my dad and I cuss like a sailor at home.

My husband does not swear and neither does my SD23 (she might say, "ass" if she's really pissed at her ex). She would not even have thought to cuss when she was young. Ever.

I will kill her literally. The wort word he said stupid before and been told off for that so he seems to not repeat it.

You see my father used to swear and they were to insult and devalue the person he was talking to. I will not want DS to get used to that.
I am a known control freak. I try not to expose him to these type of things, even I try avoid smoking areas when I am with him. (And please note that I used to smoke till last June 19 years and he has not ever seen me smoke)

I understand that he will hear these type of words, see violence etc but I am not going to be the one teaching him
