So... I mentioned in an earlier post that we had a visit with OSD, her DHead DH and their "darling" hellion a few weeks ago.  Among the topics of conversation were her railing on about how stupid her mother (BM) is.. and that she is so dumb shacking up with a guy she met on the internet a few months ago.. "who is still married and is going to figure out her "sht" soon.. and has apparently told the BM that he expects her to have her financial situation straight within 6 months as a condition of their remaining together.. but that he is moving her in for now and has loaned her like 10K to pay bills etc.."  So.. OSD is so high on her horse about what her mother is doing that will surely crash and burn in 2 months "and she will be homeless and it's her own fault" to quote SD.

I also relayed the story about OSD telling her younger sister that BM shouldn't be spending ANY money on YSD for her birthday because "I am getting ready to have another baby and she needs to spend her money on HIM". 

Well, apparently the shoe drops further as YSD called me the other day to proclaim that she basically cussed out both her MOTHER and her SISTER.  OSD has been whining and being a complete brat because she wanted her mother to buy her some fancy $400 dollar camera for Christmas.  Yes.. the same one that begrudged her younger sister any present at all for her birthday.. yes the same one that is putting her mother down for being in poor financial shape.  but she INSISTS that mommy buy her this camera.

Well BM did buy this camera and then called YSD and told her that "Christmas is coming a little late for you honey.. I spent all of my money on OSD".  All YSD had asked for was some rollerblades that cost like $60 bucks..... but no.. princess OSD gets her grab first.

YSD told her mother that she was a piece of work spending all that money trying to buy the affection of someone that doesn't even LIKE her.. 

It's crazy town with BM and OSD.. I think it's genetic.

Oh.. and we had the family Christmas todo with MIL and all MIL can do is talk about "how much a difference 6 months and boy vs girl" is with kids because OSD's boy is a terror.. won't listen.. and his cousing who is female and 6 months older is polite and listens and appears to be a LOT smarter.  They were given a musical instrument.. she tried to play it.. semi well for a 3 yo.. he pounded his on the ground like a mallet.

Oof.. it's not girls vs boys.. not 6 mo age difference.. it's parenting.. that's what it is.!
