Steaming pile

Of Dog Poop!

Yesterday took the cake with Zippy16.5.

My bio sons were coming over for Sunday dinner and we got to meet sons new girlfriend.

I was busy all day getting house cleaned and menu prepared. Zippy slept his usual 14 or so hours and I came in the living room to see Zippy eating Kraft Dinner on the living room pillows yet AGAIN.

I said: "Zippy-I really should not have to tell you everyday to stop eating your meals perched precariously on the living room pillows-I do not want grease and food all over the pillows and sofa-now STOP this behavior!

Zippy16.5 smirks at me and lurches his meal downstairs to eat on HIS sofa pillows.

I continue getting ready for dinner-Zippy is happily ensconced in the basement gaming it up loudly.

DH walks in and checks in with the precious Zippy-only to find Zippy gaming away beside a huge pile of dog poop-one of our dogs had an accident in Zippy's area (gee wonder why) -when asked why he did not pick it up Zippy answers-

"Whuuuu, I did not see it DAD"

obviously did not smell it either!

Honestly.....

Not only can I see Zippy sitting right next to a pile of dog poop, but I can definitely hear him say, "Whuuuu, I did not see it DAD."

Priceless.

I'm not sure how he couldn't smell dog poop because in my experience, dog poop smells! Bad!

Perhaps all those video games killed off parts of his brain, including the part that controls smell!

Did you have a good fourth?

I had a great Canada Day (July 1st), thanks-Zippy was gone all day and we saw a great band and fire works at a great city venue.

Yes-I believe this constant gaming turns some parts of the brain off-I cannot imagine sitting next to a pile of poo and NOT noticing! Yikes.

that has to take the cake as one of the worse moments in skid history. Did your DH believe him?

One can only hope!

I didn't think the pile of poop in your title was literal until I read your post! This one made me laugh!

It amazes me how he can feel comfortable sitting next to it. This boy has some strong powers of concentration to be able to block out the smell. YUCK!

I'm with Crayon. Dog poop on the bed - or in his gaming chair! - might be a great wake-up call. At least it would give you a bit of satisfaction.

Dead brain cells from constant videoing-or Zippy really CAN concentrate hard and do more-oh the thought of running that by DH...

I am so jealous of your dog (now that would be a big pile on Zippy's sofa!)-Newfoundlanders are my favourite breed!

I probably would have suspected the hygiene-less Zippy had finally reached rock bottom and had started pooping on the floor.

I would have yelled at him and rubbed his nose in it and then DH would have gotten mad at me for suspecting the annointed one of such behavior.

You're a saint Endora.

Then DH could have it bronzed and enshrined as a sacred object.

HOLY CRAP! Literally. What a looser your SS is. I think if I was your DH I would have taken him out back and put him out of my misery long ago.

How long until DH drops the worthless POS off at the Armed Forces Recruiting Center?

If he is not doing anything more with his life than warming a sofa, ignoring dog crap and playing video games he might as well be blocking bullets for some real heroes and future leaders of the free world.

I am so with you on that one!

Painful to watch I can tell you -having raised two successful sons alone (they aren't perfect and we had our times) but I just cannot believe how my perfectly intelligent DH can be so blind to this kid.....

IF that were my kids I can tell you it would NOT have been pretty!

the world from the possibility of his procreating. Could you imagine the influence of a swarm of Zippy spawn on the planet???? :jawdrop:

Save The Planet - Zippy (STP-Z)(Stop - Zippy) would be a great non profit organization to mitigate Zippy risk. Set up the org and I will donate.
