Like Blabb-Zippy16.5 did not get his Mother anything (made or card) for Mother's Day, even after DH mentioned to Zippy on Thursday night that it was Mother's Day. At almost 17 years you would think Zippy could read a computer calendar (paper calendars all over the house are ignored). Unlike Blabb (who appears to have some manners) however-I got the same big no acknowlegement for Mother's day same as Zippy's BM (at least he is fair)-(my two BS sons took me out for breakfast and I got flowers).

BM brought Zippy back to the house on Mother's Day at 9:50am as I was getting ready to go out to breakfast with Charlie 1 and 2. Zippy announces he has a job interview (GREAT)-at 10:15Am-AND BM is driving him to the interview.

Zippy is back at the house at 10:25AM X-Boxing his brains out all day- guess that is all they could stand of each other for Mother's Day-(at least SHE gets a choice)-

We have Zippy for the Canadian long weekend next week (Victoria Day)-I told DH I was looking forward to Zippy sleeping until 2pm everyday-getting up and making huge bacon and egg breakfasts and eating them on our living room sofa pillows whilst watching loud cartoons -only to go downstairs from that strenouous activity and X-Box/Rock Band his brains out until 11pm every night....

On the upside -apparently BM has a new boyfriend-who seems to be nicer than the last one, who three weeks ago slashed her tires and the police had to be called. I said to DH -maybe this new guy is rich and they will move to a big house on the side of town Zippy wants to live in(the side of town all of us adults in his life are paying for moving Zippy and ruining his life!) and take Zippy with them to live happily ever after NOT-never happen-BM is through with Zippy and on with her Zipless life....sigh
