SS thinks he's slick

I'm not sure when these little monsters will learn but they still continue to think they can get one over on me. School started a couple weeks ago and it has been the same as it has been for years; I pick out the 3 boys's clothes the night before. They tend to wear holy, staind, non matching clothes that don't fit. SS10 and SS12 look like hell when they are at their Moms house but they are not going to look like that walking out of my house. When I did the laundry after the first week of school I noticed that SS12 had no clothes that he wore to school in his laundry basket but had 8 pairs of sports shorts and old t-shirts in it. Hmmmmm. Odd. Come to find out, he has been changing his clothes as soon as he gets to school. Fine. You want to look like a wreck. Fine. However I'm not sure what he is doing with his good school clothes. Is he throwing them away? Are they shoved in his locker? He told me they were at his moms house. Which I know is a lie because he has the inability to tell the truth. I guarantee you he just told me that to get him off the hook until he went back to his moms house a week later. We are now in the third week of school and he has only brought two outfits home. I had taken his iPod away from him when I found out his school clothes were missing and told him he wasn't getting it back until he returned all of his clothes. Guess what. Still no clothes. However I have also been taking his sports shorts and t-shirts and putting them in my closet so he can't take them to school. Something's gotta give soon because he only has a couple things in his closet and dresser left and I make sure he only has 1 pair of sport shorts and a t-shirt to sleep in for bedtime. He's too dumb to realize that I am taking the play clothes that he is wearing home and stashing them away. Can't wait till he wakes up one morning and the only thing he has to wear to school is his Scooby Doo flannel PJs.

If mom, dad and the kids don't care how they are dressed, why are you having this battle?

Picking out clothes for kud's that age is nuts. Leave him alone. At his age peer pressure(or a cute girl) has a larger impact than a SM.
