DUMBEST Questions

Dogmom1321's picture

SD12 walked downstairs and saw a recent American flag I had set out for the upcoming Memorial Day weekend. SD proceeds to ask... "When is the Fourth of July?" Seriously?

*face palm* I said the Fourth of July is on July 4th. I guess either the tone I said it in or my face said it all. Lol.

What are some of the dumbest questions your SKs have asked you?

At age 21, asked SO how to pump $5 of gas without an attendent to do it for her.

Not specifically a stupid question, but she also once (age 19) heated the entire large oven under the stove on a 90 degree summer day to heat an avacados since she read on the internet that heating it in an oven would ripen it (um, no).

Probably more examples I can't even think of but I didn't know Bratty at 12 (SO and I met when she was 18) but I'm sure at that age she would have asked when the 4th of July was LOL.

Her town where her son had disappearn 10yrs ago and cut off contact after moving overseas

Well adult ss all cocky and unintelligent says she should just contact the embassy of the country he is last known to be in and the embassy staff will find him because they can tell the police to go look for him. Yes because foreign embassies can order local authorities to find someone like they work for the foreign embassy

ss sits there all cocky and proud of himself whilst sil and hubby rolled their eyes in silence

As if embassies are going to bother looking for someone who is an adult and doesn't seem to want to be found.

Paperwork and doesn't know how they operate. But he follows his mum, brainless but talks big.. forgot which country in europe it was but pretty sure it has alot of corruption and they aren't very welcoming to foreign powers lecturing them on how to do their job lol...

First of all if I had sad that to SD17 in front of DH he would have gotten pissed at me and would have instantly defended her! He would have said either my tone was too harsh or I was too quick t answer.

As for a stupid question - Last week she asked DH how to warm up her leftover chessefries!!!

Oh man where do I start with SD8?
'Wait, what day is it?' When we literally talked about it being the first day of the weekend.
'What does that say?' The 'Universal' word appearing before the movie starting and SS literally saying the word.
SD asks what's for dinner and we say stir fry and DH literally cooking the vegetables and spooning the rice into the bowls. I'm reheating pasta bolognaise for DD1 and SD asks me 'Is that the stir fry?' .
We talk about our plans for the day and when we all get ready SD asks 'Where are we going?' Ughhh.
