so BM sends a message to DH telling him to have Dakota back off of ss18 and his college financing. she is taking him to a BANK to get a loan and she will forward all information to answer my questions. I"m confusing him by talking to him about stuff.

she's so dumb. i'm talking to him because it needs to be done and she's missing the whole point!!!

What is it with BM's and college loans? DH and I have tried to explain to SD that she can get a decent education without mortgaging her entire future by attending a state U (15 minutes from her mom's house), doing work study and living at home for the first 2 years. We were told to stay out of it because we were stressing her out.
BM has talked her into a private liberal arts college 4 hours away with $50,000 a year tuition. A $200,000 debt for a 4 year liberal arts degree means she will be paying back student loans until she reaches social security age. When we are asked to contribute (and we will be asked) we plan to give the $2000 it would take for her to go to the local U with a work study grant while living at home.
I guess BM and SD are so used to spending other people's $$ that practicality doesn't figure into their thinking.

BM wanted him to go closer to home to the school seh went to so now the pricetag is $20,000. then she has the balls to tell DH to pay 1/3. decree says 18 or completion of high school, whichever comes later. i have a call into my lawyer to see if she can really force us to pay. Good luck though - we have our credit maxed out.

There will be no paying of skids education in this house....if they had been living here...different story...but they chose not too...hell I could have got them a free education in a limestone University considered the best in the world and they would have received 300 bucks every two weeks to go...but no...they dont like me...so hahahaha....go shove it up your arse and get the money off you stupid ugly mother.....
in the meantime...im planning our retirement to Australia....gunnu go live in an RV in the middle of the country where there is no phone nor internet service but we will be so relaxed....just us and the kangaroos....bliss....
