Wow! I am so happy to finally have a place to vent about my life! I am married with an eleven year old stepdaughter whom we have full custody of and my husband and I have a two year old son. My stepdaughters mother is bipolar and lives in another state. So I am her only "mother". She really is a great child, but sometimes I feel guilty because I don't feel the same for her as I do my son. I know it's normal but it really puts a strain on my relationships with her and my husband. I look forward to having a place to get these feelings out and hopefully learning from others how to deal with stepparenting struggles.

Welcome cvn221 U will ♥ it here. I do in just a few short weeks I have made some very special friends here.. I hope you do as well... Take all the advice with a grain of salt, keep what you can use and throw the rest over your shoulder...

Welcome. It is different from Bkids to Skids, don't feel guilty. You are trying your best, it sounds like that is why you are here.

Thank you. I love Beth Moore. I participated in one of her Bible studies last year and it was amazing! She gives me a lot of hope.
