Just wanted to introduce myself. I am a sm to twins ss14 and sd14 and bm to bs10 and bs4.
Struggling with steplife at times as my ss14 has a drug/alchol habit and a habit of stealing as well.

My sd14 is no more of a problem than any 14yr old girl.
She is with us every weekend most of the time although ss is currently ban from the ole homestead as my bs4 found his "stash".
needless to say I was not to happy.

I am sure I will be posting in the near future some vents, good things and bad. I am glad there is a place to go instead of venting to myself. I am getting sick of listening. Wink

Sorry no one else has dropped you a line yet... Maybe if in your next post you used the word Ivillage in your topic line, I bet you'd get a response! Lol.

My own bioson did it (thankfully he got straightened out) and I'll be damned if SS14 (16 now) didn't start at that age also.

One piece of advice for when he starts coming back. Put a deadbolt on your bedroom door and SS proof your house everytime he comes. Put anything that is valuable or drinkable in there and lock it if you aren't in viewing distance of the door.

Haven't had anything stolen in a year.

Yes there will be a lock and he will only start with day visits as well.
His room will be searched and he will be watched for a while.
I am glad your bio son got straightened out.
It does seem ss is trying and hopefully will get on the right path with therapy, meetings etc. thank you

if your SS is really trying and putting in the effort than that is a very good sign. That is the key...if he wants it.

good luck

I'm new too Smile My BS is turning 14 next month, but so far, no drug/alcohol problems have surfaced. Though if he stayed at his BF's house much I could see it happening.
