Well things have quiet and good. Things have really started to mellow and just be a routine. I do miss time with my girlfriends but I have just been busy with my own stuff, with the skid, and SO had to work some overtime. Since it has been so quiet and easy we decided to add to everything and stir up some chaos....

Can you guess what it is....it was not planned.....I never thought I would want this......hey we figured why not.....

If you guess adding another dog to the mix you got it right. SO and I have decided that we are going to adopt a beautiful girl dog. We had a meet and greet with her last weekend. Our current 85 lb of love was so excited he was jumping in the air, his little stub tail was going crazy. Eventually once all the smelling and checking one another out passed they were playing. She got full of slobber from him play biting and her play biting back. She was jumping up on him and wanted to wrestle. We had them on leashes so it got complicated but it was so good.

She is totally obedience trained. She is so sweet when SS sat on the ground near her she came right over and laid with him and put her head in his lap. He says that she will be his. I think he might be right I think she is going to bond with him. We are so excited we have another meet and greet at our home. We want to see how our dog does with her on his territory and I want to see how she reacts to the kitty that never shuts up and whines all the time. She was cat tested and just ignored them. I have a fur ball who will never shut up, who sits there and just meooooooooooooooooooowws, stares at me and looks at what he wants. Yes he communicates very well about what he wants and does not want.

So house will have 1 kid, 2 dogs both over 70lbs, and 2 cats. It will be full and crazy.

Oh and the in-laws are due from FL this week. Staying with SO's sister, (thank goodness). I am preparing for the worst hoping for the best. I am sure MIL will go on and on about the wedding, tell us what we need to do to our home, say SS's clothes do not fit and I should buy two sizes too big so he can grow into them. One size yeah I can agree but not two, it looks ridiculous on him. She will want to come over often great fine, but if one night we are busy and can't oh no. I am sure she will be like I want to see my puppy, yes my SO's dog, you should bring him over here, or I want to take him for a walk. No we are still working with him to get him to walk on a leash very good. He is good but I like to keep it that way. Of course when she hears SO not even me say No. It will be "you do not like me" "you think I am annoying" on and on and on. My goal to walk out of the room shrug shoulders and say IDK.

I am just looking forward to the new dog. I will have another girl in the house. YAY!

Congratulations on your new furbaby!!

Ash, I am SO happy to hear that you met her first AND introduced her to your current furbaby. Too many people do not do either on of those things and they are crucial! Yahoo

We went through a foster organization so it was required. We had to do the first meet and greet in neutral territory. The next one is this weekend at our home. If she had not already gone through the full obedience training we would be able to keep her this weekend. But my SO and I both have to go to a two hour session with her.

She is a good girl, she loved playing with our dog. Both very strong muscle dogs with high energy. I see a end table or two getting knocked over. Oh well they are old.
