Not looking forward to this afternoon

The current plan is that once the baby is released, GBM and BM will be picking up SD. I don't want to send her back. I really really really don't.
SD only had 2 meltdowns over being away from BM and GBM all weekend. One at dinner time (Chicken noodle soup, but they don't make her eat vegetables or meat so chicken noodle soup is a foreign concept to her) and one when she didn't get her way. She and BD2 have gotten along famously. She has been sweet, loving... she ASKED to hold BD3m and sat nicely to.

We offered to just take her to school in the morning and pick her up in the afternoon and drop her off at home.

"You can't, you're not on the list."

Who is on the list? Every. single. last. person. in BM's family. Her mother, her grandmother, her aunt that hasn't seen SD since she was a year old... everyone. Not DH though.

"I am not an ATM and I'm not a glorified baby sitter. I am her father and you had better put me on that list first thing Monday morning. Got it?"

"I'll try."

We can't afford a lawyer, we talked to one but we can't afford him unless we come up with $1000 and that's just not in the cards right now. CPS says to continue with the current arrangement until we hear otherwise. They don't have enough for an abuse case, just negligence and failure to protect.
