Soooo what is everybody dressing up as tonight?

I personally am going to be a mom-bie. In preparation I have decided to don my regular leggings, fuzzy socks and coffee stained oversized sweatshirt. I also am using this as an excuse not to brush my hair. And yes-ive attended 2 meetings already (via phone).

SS & BD are going as Batman and Robin. They do a skit. Its cute.

Lady deadpool, complete with scarred up skin on my face and hands! lol

Was gonna be a zombie. Then DH showed up with a deadpool costume for me. And I didn't have the heart to say I had already decided. Cuz he was SUPER excited about it. lol. Also we had to reconfigure when the ex/ family decided to be zombies because I like them and wanted me in their family pictures, without the ex, I was thoroughly creeped tbh.

Nothing... no costumes at work. No parties to attend. No trick or treaters on my street. Although I did buy an "emergency" bag of candy (laffy taffy, nerds, bottle caps and sweet tart mix) and of course have eaten half of it so far. I know I won't have any visitors.. but it was a good excuse.

Now you tell me!!
I could have bought myself an emergency bag of chocolate!! (Stealing this idea for next year)

We dont do Halloween although we went to a Halloween party on Saturday.

I still remember being in college and some family in our apartment complex knocks on the door.. I think I scrounged up a granola bar. I always try to have something on hand now just in case.. but always something I want to eat }:)

SO and I are wearing black cloaks with disturbing masks. SS is unsure as of yet. I have Totes full of costumes. He can't make up his mind.

I'm dressed as Maleficent. Our Peek, K and 1st grade had a Halloween Parade and Dance a thon (proceeds are going to St. Judes). Several of my students(1st grade) wore Disney costumes. One even came dressed as the QUEEN OF HEARTS.
Right now I'm spending my prep time stuffing candy bags for my little darlings.

Tonight I'm hanging out on my stoop drinking Ciroc and passing out candy.

nada. i've dressed up as a witch before with a long purple wig. i already had this fabulous long-sleeved, ankle-length all black dress that was perfect for it and high-heeled boots, so i just got the wig and hat. i did that the first halloween we were together, with dh as a vampire - the kids got a kick out of seeing us in costume. then they got older.... so the next year, that was 'out'.

the last time kaos dressed up, he'd originally decided he wasn't going to go trick-or-treating. then he changed his mind at the VERY last minute (i'm talking 6:30 at night!) so i painted his face while dh sliced up an old t-shirt. i added some paint around the slices. we actually made him look pretty good as a zombie, to do so in such a rush lol!

I never dress up. I'm too cheap to buy a costume. Biggrin

DD3 hasn't decided. She has Super Girl, Wonder Woman, Minnie Mouse, and probably 6-8 different princess costumes that she's accumulated over the last year to choose from.

SD7 is going to be a princess. DS11 and SSstb10 are both skeletons this year.I waited for the sales and then picked the cheapest ones for them to choose from. I think I only spent $25 for 4 costumes this year.

A few years ago we spent $100 just for the costumes and accessories. Skids didn't wear the ones we just bought and DS didn't even go trick or treating. I was livid. I decided I was never buying them nice costumes again.

We're not dressing up tonight, but HD and I went to a Halloween party this past weekend as Walter White (him) and Jesse Pinkman (me) from Breaking Bad.

It's the only day of the year I do not have to dress up , and I'm most comfortable with my black dress and broom
