Should I?

Dreary's picture

I know it would be over stepping but if sd doesn't go back to her moms should I contact the 3 boys she is accusing of rape and talk to their parents? Let them know about the baby and what sd is accusing them of so that we can get their side and hopefully find out who baby daddy is?

They are all teenagers. Social services is involved with her being 15 and pregnant but they are investigating bm not us. I'm not sure what is going on with that just that we met the social worker when she came to see our house and interview us. Sd didn't want to file a police report and I'm not sure what could be done 5 months later.

i don't know but I think they are all around sds age. They all go to her school and she talks about one of them and tells stories of something funny he did. I think she has a crush on him.

You do not contact the boys or their parents. DH does not contact them either. DH needs to talk to his lawyer. What will happen depends on the laws in your state regarding age of consent and what SD tells authorities happened.

Yes, children's services is investigating BM and not you, but you have a pregnant 15 year old in your home. Expect children's services to be talking to you too. (not investigate, talk too)

I'm with the others on this.. stay out of it!

It's my understanding though, at least in California, that if a child shows up to the Dr pregnant, and says anything about rape, doesn't the Dr have to report it to child services? Pretty sure they do... they are mandated reporters.
