G/daughter update
She is now 6. Her father has moved into his own place and has broken up with his girlfriend. So GD lost her 2 'sisters' and her 'mommy' after 1 yr. She was late for school 2 days last week because 1) he didn't have bread to make her a sandwish which was BS according to him. Why should he have to provide food when she was going on a field trip? He ranted and raved to DD how stupid this all is. The field trip is in 3 weeks time. 2) Daddy didn't wake up on time.
Yesterday she called me in tears. Daddy told her that there was no tooth fairy or Santa Claus because he didn't have any money for her tooth that fell out. GD calls me when she is upset because I seem to be the only one who can understand her.
And she says Daddy forgot to give me dinner last Saturday.
Thank goodness this is DDs week with her! Who knows what will happen during the summer!

What does your daughter say
What does your daughter say about all this? If he is chronically unable to get her to school on time then she needs to take him back to court for more parenting time.
If he is actually forgetting to feed her then that is a serious issue too....but I'd be wary of that claim. My skids constantly will say we didn't feed them anything all day....until you remind them of the three meals and two snacks they ate. Then its...oh yeah. I don't know that I'd trust a six year old to accurately relay that she didn't get fed a meal days ago.
Your daughter needs to look into the conditions at his home more closely though

My daughter is willing to
My daughter is willing to take G/Daughters comments with a grain (or 2) of salt. And as she said G/D may well have not wanted to eat what he prepared for her.
But the Bread Incident of 2013 was as he told it to my daughter. The school had called DD to ask if G/D was coming to school. They could not reach B/Father. DD called him on a few numbers and tracked him down and he let fly about how GD had told him she had a field trip and was not eating lunch at school and he lost it because SHE should have told him and given him due notice . "SHE" is 6 yrs old! And who doesn't have the makings of a lunch to throw together when G/D had been with him for the past week not to mention a 24 hr supermarket 1 mile away. So not only was he relying on his 6 yr old to get the date straight for the field trip (she is in kindergarten) but holding her accountable for there being not enough food to make her a lunch.
It is all evidence.
