I was desperately looking on-line for some support. I actually Google "how to leave your husband and teen step children" and found a post by badlinz. It touched me. She was told to leave because the SD was causing issues and the husband said to the wife.... leave. Well, in my case, I will have to leave. My two step sons moved in with us 7 months ago. They are frigging disgusting slobs! At first I would leave notes, then text them, then I lost my cool with my HD a while ago and he did and said nothing about it. I have a teen daughter who is being treated like the maid too. I am so done. I want him to tell me to leave. I don't want to live like this any more.
Of course, it is more than just a clean home... It is, the 18 year old works full time and moved out of his mothers because he didn't want to pay rent... the 16 year old is a pot head who my HD treats like a damn angel.
And then there's my 18 year old son too, who thank God moved out a while ago and my husband was extremely harsh with. So add all of up and what do you get? A grown woman who has to retreat to her room because either the TV is being taken over by the teens or HD or because I can't do anything in the house due to them being in the way........ I am just about ready to blow a gasket. So, badlinz if you are out there, please let me know how things went. Oh, and my HD and I have been together for 14 years, and I am quite ready to go regardless.
