jealousy

:? my 17 yr old sd is jealous of me. Her dad and I have been married for 8 months. He has had her fulltime since shes been 4yrs old. shes says she hates living at home and she admits shes jealous of me. ive been what i believe has being nice to her and trying to get her to like me and overcome her jealousy. I dont know what to do about this?? please help!!

Awe doll, this is TOTALLY normal. Just be patient with her. Try your best to find common ground. Even if it is burritos at Taco Bell. You are the intruder here. She needs to have the same weight she had before, and you are taking that space from her.
Keep in mind, she is leaving for college soon (hopefully) and you are Mrs. Tomorrow. Respect that she has her place, and be humble. You are forever, she is ms. right now. She is a child, you are an adult.
I know this is hard, but it really is temporary
