After reading a lot of posts on here, I am lucky to have it so good.

There is little to no drama here. My SD11 and SD5 love the hell out of me. They listen (for the most part) and they have picked up a lot good traits that I have brought over.

The PF of the SD11 is not even a thought or a part of our lives. He was not on the birth certificate and we do not collect CS from him. From what I am told my dw, he would rather go to jail than pay. I came into SD11's life when she was 6. At that age, you can adapt pretty quickly to knew people (me). I think from the start she knew I was good for dw and herself. It took her about a year or so to start calling me dad. It was a smooth transition.

The PF of the SD5 is really out of his mind. I came into SD5's life when she was almost 1.5. It's been a long tough road with her and split custody has not and will not make it any easier. Being 1/2 Latin, she calls her father, 'papi' and calls me dad She also has a tendency of calling my wife mommy(first name) when she is on that side for the week.

I must say, being loved by these two has made it very easy for me to transition over. They're good kids and I am thankful for that!
