So update to last weeks blog. Dinner with my parents went
Surpringly well. Ss had a sulky face on him when dh told
Him to order a pizza. He said on average four words for the whole dinner which all were "fine". My mother asked how are you etc. He has extremely poor social skills though and finds it difficult to talk to people. I have been telling dh for years that dh babying him and only spending time with him at weekends and not encouraging him to make friends was damaging but whatever.

The next day ss made a comment about bm. He was not bad mouthing her In the slightest, he was just talking matter of fact. He said that he has to get up for school in the morning and has to be really quiet so he doesn't wake anyone and then goes catches the school bus by himself without having seen anyone. To me, this is just so sad. Bm is at home all day. I can't understand why she couldn't get her lazy ass out of bed and have a cup of coffee while he's having breakfast. She's not working so can't use that as an excuse. I just thought this was awful. We know bm1 is awful. When we drop him off , she answers the door and doesn't hug him or anything, just kind of walks off while he waves at us. We have him every weekend and during the week too so she never spends any quality time with him at all. Never has. It's sad.

So I was feeling a bit sorry for ss and organised a special treat for him and dh to go off for two hours today to do an activity together. They were chuffed and dh even cooked me dinner today to day thanks and I was grateful of the break because I have blogged recently that I am struggling doing everything on my own with dh work at the moment. It's so hard. Anyway dh had baby in with him in ss room and I hear baby give an almighty cry.
Seriously it was a cry I'd never heard before and I can hear ss laughing hysterically in his room. Dh immediately brings baby to me and I ask what happened. He said ds had choked on dh fingers in his mouth. Ss is still laughing hysterically next door. I take ds and dh can tell I am pissed.
He did shout at ss to not laugh when ds was screaming like that but again I just get a glimpse of what a horrible kid he is at times even when you try to do nice things for him.

Pointless blog just venting because while dh did give out to ss he stole excuses it too. At least they'll be leaving the house shortly for a bit so I can just cuddle baba.
