Happy Friday everyone!

My Birds are in the superbowl and of course took off Monday. Looking forward to a long weekend of celebration whether or not they win.

What are your go to Superbowl dishes.

So far we are doing a pot of sauges, crack cups and cupcakes. Its just DH and I this year for the game but we will eat.

we are having wings at the Pep Rally party the day before.

Ribs

I do ribs in the crockpot with a beer and honey BBQ sauce. Then I caramelize them in the broiler. Yum.

Just the two of us this year unless DW's boss drops a late invitation on us. We lived just outside of Philly for 6 years so this year is a green team year for us. DW will wear her vintage white with Pink numbers McNab jersey I am sure. Unless we go to her boss's house. Then we will be more subtle. They are a Chiefs family and pissing off a great boss is to be avoided.

If we stay home, it will be green deviled eggs, wasabi grilled cheese bites (the wasabi chedder is green and soooo creamy). And some craft beet in a green bottle. Maybe a couple of cheese steaks from Paulie's South Street.

Unfortunately, he is not an Eagles fan, but will be routing them on for me. Hes a Rams guys

I'm generally an AFC guy.

But an Eagles superbowl is something special and we loved our 6 years in the mid atlantic/Philly area. We lived in Glen Mills PA for 3 years then in Middletown DE for three. We went to several Eagles games while we were there. I was working with DuPont at the time.

As a kid I was a Raiders fan. My dad and my brother are Broncos guys.
